TLS requirement of HiveMQ Cloud offerings
TLS requirement of HiveMQ Cloud offerings
Our different HiveMQ Cloud offerings allow for varying grades of customisation and therefore also each come with different possibilities of connecting MQTT clients. The individualised Professional and Enterprise deployments allow for most customization as these are custom tailored to your needs.
| Serverless | Starter | Professional | Enterprise |
---|---|---|---|---|
TLS mandatory | Yes | Yes | No | No |
SNI required | Yes | No | No | No |
One difference between the brokers in the Serverless and Starter offerings is that Serverless requires the clients to be SNI capable when establishing the TLS connection. This is necessary in order to differentiate between individual tenants.
