Should I use IP ranges or DNS names for firewall configuration?

Solution

In the HiveMQ Cloud environment, IP addresses are dynamically generated by Kubernetes and may undergo changes when configuration adjustments are made.

Ideally, firewalls should be configured to work seamlessly with DNS names, ensuring they can consistently resolve the IP behind the respective entry.
