My Paho client cannot connect to the HiveMQ Cloud cluster

  1. Verify that the port is available in your environment using a verified MQTT client MQTT-CLI.

  2. If the MQTT-CLI client connects well, contact support (watch this video on how to create a ticket https://www.loom.com/share/877a00b3c07042c187d705fa17843eca?sid=76363029-20b3-4ed3-9cfb-6fdc07396def)

  3. When creating the ticket, provide the following information:

    1. Which guide did you follow (insert the link) at which step did it fail and what was the error message

    2. The code of your MQTT client, including instructions on how to build or compile it and to give it a test run.
