The Diagnostic Archive feature is available starting from HiveMQ broker version 4.12.0.
There are 3 ways to create a Diagnostic Archive:
From the Control Center - Support - Diagnostic Archive - Create
From the REST API https://www.hivemq.com/docs/hivemq/4.12/rest-api/specification/#tag/Diagnostic-Archive/operation/createDiagnosticArchive (Note, that REST API is an Enterprise feature).
By creating an empty file in the
$HIVEMQ_HOME(a.k.a. HiveMQ broker root directory).
